Title: 8N0906018AB Bosch ME 7.5 burbles
Post by: denniss112 on September 19, 2021, 03:52:35 AM
Hello,
this is my first post sorry if I post it in the wrong threat or something.

I got a Audi TT mk1 with Bosch ME 7.5 8N0906018AB, and I got a XDF from a fellow member on the forum, but its missing some parts, and I was hoping someone could help me adding them to the file..?

Im looking for:
KFNWEGM
KFTVSA

My goal is for some nice burbles when decell, and occasionally a pop on high refs.

Don't use KFNWEGM use KFTVSA instead

Attach your binary i'll sort you out with KFTVSA

I will attach my BIN, but I am curious, do you have a XDF with KFTVSA included? Or do you use winOLS?
Im very curious by nature, so I always wanna check what has been done so I can learn from it.

Also try not to go too crazy, it still has the stock CAT in it, only has a muffler delete ATM. In the upcomming years I want to go full 3" with 200 cell CAT and a muffler.

Attached Damos, KP and XDF. Simple conversion, will contain some bugs propably.

Thank you so much for the time and effort! What kind of bugs are you talking about exactly? Could it mess anything up if I make changes and upload the map?

It is very easy to find

I like using a well defined map preferably one that's very similar to your car, all we need to do to find these maps is look at the address of the one that is defined, then we look for this map in raw hex. It's probably not the best, fastest or most efficient but usually works for such an easy map.

Just making sure I got this right. This is the table I get from KFTVSA, the values look fine, but I wanna confirm they are with you guys.

The values are milliseconds  right? So the value 0.2000 is 2 seconds?

If that's stock that can't possibly be the right address

I think it might be 0x199EF but i can't be sure if a value of 0.61 is correct. I've never worked on these TT's, but i do know KFTVSA values can differ between different binaries.

0.2 would mean 0.2 seconds - max value would be 2.55 seconds.

When I bought the car, the prev owner did mention it might have been tuned by some owner in the past, but he never had evidence. I did notice it makes about 200HP on the crank acording to VCDS logs, but I dont see why they would change KFTVSA for a stage 1 tune, since there where never pops/burbles added.

Compare your file to stock and you'll find out  :)

Also, while you're on here, might aswell start from a stock file and DIY. Read the stage 1 community thread and s4wiki.

What do normal kftvsa maps look like? I cant realy find a good reference for data.

Seems like they are both the same. I changed the value to 2.5500 at 2000 - 6600 RPM (on the bottom row, 80.25 C) but its not doing anything on decel. I still have to do it manualy with my foot by pressing it slightly..

I even tried the map you suggested where all the values where around 0.61, but with same result.

It is stock KFTVSA of 018AB-TT  dump

Does it work, when you press clutch ?
Then you missed CWSAWE

I have not tried that yet, but I have tried to search for CWSAWE in winOLS but couldnt find it,
i dont think my car has this feature. Its a 1999 TT

Offcourse when I post something it only takes 5 minuites untill I find itt... It was over at 11211. It currently is set to '2'. Could you enlighten me what other values I can use?

Went out today and kept eye on the fueling side in VCDS. Im sure my KFTVSA is wrong since its not waiting for fuel cutoff, its going straight to 0.

So I put those values back to stock.

With CWSAWE changed to "1" I get nasty bangs on downshifts, sounds amazing.

I think for getting the burbles on decel I need the correct map for KFTVSA. After that I can fine tune how loud and when I want the burbles.

3 = Delay always active, no fuel cutoff during NOx-catalyst regeneration
2 = Delay activated only when clutch depressed, no fuel cutoff during NOx-catalyst regeneration
1 = Delay always active
0 = Delay active only when clutch depressed

hi, did anyone manage to make a good working pops and bangs program for this 8N0906018AB? I've tried and at best I get a bang "every now and then", but it seems to be somehow temperature (catalysator?? not sure) dependent, in some situations I get a bang, in others not. Is it necessary to touch, for example, TATMSA, TKATSA, TKATW, TKATMN? Raising TATMSA over what I see tkat in logs, didnt work. Fuel flow is dropped usually very shortly (like 200ms, instead of what is put in KFTVSA) after liftoff.

YES..

Somehow other than removing fuel cut completely? could I see what changes have been made and where? Is it possible to keep the fuel cut but just increase the delay in a functional way? KFTVSA just doesnt work all the time...It's like there is something interfering and the funktionrahmen does not correspond to the function in this ecu.

Is there any way to remove remove fuel cut only from high rpm or from a certain high rpm area? For example, more than 3500+ no fuel cut.

I got the car to bang from the ac button, it's easy, but I don't like the idea that it has to be summer and that the engine brake is reduced at all revs.

KFTVSA really doesn't seem to work with this.

I tried playing with TKATSA and TATMSA but that doesn't work either (tatmsa doesn't affect tkat). (Plan was to use tkat temperature to prevent cutting off the fuel supply.)

I got pretty nice upshift / throttle release popcorns with:

2500-6520 range
KWZWMN rows 15-24: -37,50 & row 50 -29
KFZWOP rows 4.99-19.99: ~28
KFZW first row: ~27
KFLBTS rows 25.50-49.50 taper from lambda 0.95 to 0.85 (3500-6520 rpm)
CWSAWE 1 (may not be necessary, didn't confirm)

However, I reverted back to stock because broke already 2 front lambda-sensors. (the incorrect placement in the aftermarket dp is partly affected). End of play, this is very stupid :D

that is interesting. I have never heard of a NOx catalyst on the 1.8T's. My BMW from 08 happens to have one, and im not a fan of  those.. but still weird the ME7.5 has some programming for NOx sensors..
