Title: n112 valve must be present for adaptation to function, why?

does anyone know why does the n112 valve need to be present, or at least a resistor, for the fuel adaption to work?

I was able to code out the N112 and leave it unplugged and no resistor AND get fuel adaptation. This was on a AUG ECU. It was trial and error and a fun exercise to find the bytes.

i have no clue if thats even close to being right. i just searched for "valve". but i didnt know what else it would be called besides secondary air valve.
