The one with yellow sticker on it I suppose. It looks like PLCC44 for me...

Thanks.

The file I have is for the ahc engine and im not sure if they use the same maf and injectors. Can I just copy the maps from the abz to the ahc?

just fyi, the stock chips are 27c1024 and are otp. 28f102 are the flash replacements and can be erased and flashed as many times as you like.

Finding the map table is the easiest way of finding most of the maps.

Here's a good guide http://www.motronic.ws/maptable.htm

Post original files for both ECUs... Otherwise noone will be able to find any maps for you.

Not 8A94 but 8A95 and ends @8C3Eh, this file contains 213 maps...

You sure?

It's little endian, the two bytes starting at 8A92 is 92 8A signifying the map addresses start after this.

The next two are 3E 8C, there's a map at 8C3E, the next two are 4C 8C, there's a map at 8C4C etc.

It is not 16bit ECU! Just check if there is a map at address you found and compare it with what you get @8A95h :D

Do you know how maps are laid in Motronic ECUs? If you do not you have to read to find out. Than you at least know what are the axes. Using experience (or knowledge found on the net) you can tell what the map is by the axes and data in the map... That is all... For example injector opening time map should be 2D map with battery voltage axis (I would look for wide range of voltage - for example 8 to 16V).

He knows literally nothing that hasn't been explained here.

And that is why it might be easier for him to check injectors, fuel pressure regulator and MAF part numbers in ETKA...

Most modern ECUs have 5000+ maps.
