Title: Yo Canada.
Post by: mikeb52 on June 25, 2014, 04:13:13 PM
An empty board is like an empty Timmy's cup,, just sad.
So, I am Canadian, to quote a cool commercial, and I am finally about to try to pull my ecu program from my 2001 jetta ecu, eliminate the immo, the sai codes, I think there aere two, my emission stuff, and the asr anti slip control functions. I would also like to re identify the ecu to the new car it's going into ( 1990 Corrado), vin wise for clean air test purposes.
I have learned about the process for the immo, but not the rst so will be looking for any help I can find.
I have the dongle, the nefmoto flash software installed, and will be trying to open the ecu tonight.
This thread will chronical the learning and success, or failure of my efforts.
Cheers all.
