maybe increase auto upshift RPM for 5th gear to 9999 or FF when in manual mode. that way car will never jump to 6th.

I used KFTSRL, NMAX, DNMAXH, and added more fuel using LAMFA and also changed a few things in other areas, but I don't remember exactly what they were

Me7L and VCDS connect on bench, boot flashing only. Is it worth using 032TF, or better sticking with TP?

I just figured having 032TF would be good since we have A2L.

Not sure which is easier to fix, the flashing issue on 032TF or the lack of connection to VCDS with 032TP

I understand. When i do the output test in vcds it only goes to the half , then stabilises at the quarter and i thought it is a matter of coding

Hello ! I have recently bought an A3 8L 2002 1.8T quattro with dsg swap.
The previous owner installed a Golf mk4 immo3 vdo full fis cluster and everything is ok with speed and gear display in the FIS but the only thing that doesn't work is the fuel gauge.
The instrument cluster is from a fwd car. Can someone help me with the eeprom edit for 2 fuel gauges?
The wiring from the level senders is the same for mk4 and the a3 so it should be solved from the dump edit.

What you are chasing is not your problem.
On PQ34 quattro cars, the 2 fuel senders are wired in series, and each one has half the resistance scale of the FWD sender. So they sum up, and the combined resistance is exactly the same afterall.

You need to tune the trans, you can not get the desired affect by editing the engine control unit
