Can anyone help me with immo off? I can’t get any communication from my old ecu so I got a new one, hoping it will fix my problem  also anyway to check to make sure it coded correctly for manual transmission, all hw and sw match up identical thank you in advance any help will be appreciated greatly

Hallo i tryed all to find out how to sniff the traffic between the OBD and the Diag Tester. Y - Cable i allready have.

I tryed ELM327 Terminal... AT Z, AT SP 4, AT HC1, AT MA - dont work.  AT MA dont show me anything. I Use a ELM327 clone. Maybe that is the Problem ?

Wireshark + ESP32 i dont get to work.

After playing around with some matplotlib code I finally started looking at my data in visual form. I know it has too much data plotted at the same time and I have not put the RPM correctly and I am also plotting it against itself which is counterintuitive, but this will get fixed in the future.


Around the 6000 rpm mark where the hp peak is, I start feeling nothing as the RPM increases, it's as if the engine is just roaring but nothing and the rate of change of the RPM starst slowing down significantly.

It is also maddening, that whilst doing this WOT, the AW55 gearbox is deciding not to lock the torque converter. Not sure what the decisions for this were. It gets hot, and I lose 15-20% efficiency. The only reason I can think of is to prevent excessive slipping of the TC while trying to lock it during WOT.

I also have a question regarding the VVT on the intake. I was always under the impression, that the VVT cannot be advanced at high RPM because of possible interference(valve float/bounce), it was just an assumption on my part. While looking at our older comments and pictures of the turbo variants, is it possible to have safe maximum advance both at 1000rpm and 6000rpm(just from a technical standpoint)?
