I am new to this, and saw a lot of information about memory maps and BB/TT's?
My question is, what does BB of TT stand for? And how do I find out or check which memory map my ECU uses?

EDIT: I understand that opening my ECU and looking at the chip will tell me the version... but I rather not take it out of the car.

I found this online, but I am not sure how to verify this information:
VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 4 1400 16V ME7 FLASH_0028 1037352147 0261206140 29F400 FD9F

My goal is to read my ECU .bin file and save it on my desktop.
The purpose ultimately is to delete my EGR valve from the ECU.
