hello and thanks to anyone that helps out!!.
i am trying to log my aem wide band that i hooked up to my rear 02 "the green connector". i have a log file for a 551m AEM WB that i have been trying to alter as i get a hardware fault when me7 logger tries to verify the hw numbers. now i am having a lil trouble understanding the relationship between the cfg, ecu, and bin file. i have tried editing the 551m aem .ecu file to alter the hw number but it still didnt change the outcome. any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
i am assuming the gui looks for the same file as the .cfg in the ecu folder within the directory but i am kinda lost

You will need to make a new .ecu file from your current bin file you are running and then make a new .cfg file from the same bin file. Once you have the new .cfg and .ecu file you can edit the files with the aem values and you will be good.  Make sure to have a 2 instead of a 1 in the 2nd column of the .ecu file or else your reading will be all over the place.
