	Repair ECU Circuit TT 1.8t (8L0906018Q) « on: June 29, 2016, 01:25:47 AM »

Suddenly My TT 1.8T cranks but doesn't start and I got "ECM Power Relay Load Circuit: (J271)".

I check almost Fuse, Relays but they seem fine.

Finally I checked my ECU and found something badthings.

Some capacitors and resistors are broken. so I want to try replace them.

Anybody know volume of capacitors?

Please advise me which part might be broken !

From my point of view, you must buy another ECU unfortunately.

There are little chances to repair this ECU if more parts are broken.

AndrewS that ECU got bad and some weird damage in the back side of main circuit or motherboard. I see some diodes and capacitors damage. Also 95040 IC in the middle of back side of board, seems to me that is blown. Maybe damage is too extensive to repair it and maybe will be better to find other ECU.

Anyway in case you need to check whole ECU board I send you a nice pic with some useful info about it.

at first, clean that board with some isopropyl alcohol

i'll attach same pics...

I would be willing to bet that there are a ton of damaged traces, not worth trying to fix IMO.

Edit:
Are those vias just corroded, or are they blown out? Maybe both?

It's toast either way, I think.
