Hi All,

New here.  Today my Audi would not start. All electrical accessory functions are working.  Also, my steering wheel is not locked. I ran a scan and came up with a immobilzer malfunction.  It seems that the immobilzer on these Audi's go and then it's off to the dealer to have the entire steering column replaced.  Is there any way to disable this function and get the module to recognize the key again so the car will start?

you only have to blip the high beams to wake up can bus enough to scan. i have never had to do the hazards, brake, yada trick.

however, he already says he has communication.
