I received an ECU for my '05 B6 1.8t and there is suppose to be a Stage 2 tune. APR doesn't sell a stage 2 for the 1.8t. I went to the local APR dealer to verify and he says there is something on it but can't verify, he says there me a 'remnant' of the tune. He contacted APR and they said, according to the customer information in the ECU, that the ECU was reflashed to stock, by their latest records. The turbo peaks at 22psi and stays steady at 18psi. I needed the larger injectors for this tune to run properly. The engine runs very smooth without any issues, but I want to figure out what's in it. APR cannot help me it seems.. What are my options? Thank you for your time.

If it doesn't run right, tough luck. Get a stock file and get to work Smiley

Don't bother trying to modify other people's tunes. Same thing comes up over and over again and I always say the same thing.

I really which it was in a faq someplace that everyone reads, getting tired of posting my reasoning why.

Please do not ask me for tunes. I'm here to help people make their own.

Do not PM me technical questions! Please, ask all questions on the forums! Doing so will ensure the next person with the same issue gets the opportunity to learn from your ex

if it runs good (afr, knock etc.) let it be
no reason to change it if it runs good just because you want to know which tune is on your ecu
people wont care if it is a revo, apr,  walmart or toys r us tune

run logs and post them in another topic so people who know what they are looking at can help you as to what you should keep or not
