I believe the gateway in the cluster from my 2000 Euro S4 has stopped working.  I can not communicate with the cluster or the ECU with VCDS.  The rest of the VCDS modules work.  

I tried installing the cluster from a non-immo a4 and I can communicate with the cluster but not the ECU.  If I run the K-line directly from pin 7 on the OBD port to the ECU then I can read the ECU or if I jump the K-line and W-line pins from the cluster harness I can also access the ECU.  I just can't read the ECU when the cluster is plugged in.  

I had the Immo 2 feature deleted from ECU so I thought it would work fine.

Do I need another cluster from a Immo 2 S4?  Can the gateway in my existing cluster be repaired?
