Hi,

I am in need of a technical datasheet of the injectors of a saab 900/9000 turbo.

Boschnumber : 0280150431
saab            : 9142449
                  : 9188707

I'm doing a turbo-conversion on a M3.8.3 engine-management, with VR6 MAF and K04-02x turbo, and need the
correct data to use these injectors:

- TEMIN               (minimales TE / Minimum Injector Pulsewidth)
- TVUB                (Spannungskorrektur in ms. / Voltagecorrection in ms.)
- TLST.0 / TLST.1  (Startgrundmenge in ms. / Startup injected fuelmass in ms.)
- FKTU.0 / FKTU.1 (Start (B2) Abregelung (Faktor < 1) )

Ford motorsport normally has a sort of calibration-sheet (see example in 2nd post of me)
where the values are given and that comes in handy but i cannot find anything on the net
about these.

Plus that saab uses no bosch-ecu for the engines they used these injectors in, afaik.
So doing some R&D to fiddle-out the numbers is a bit awkwad...

If anyone can help on this matter, please.

Thanks,

With regards,

PvL

You should check with these guys. They might be able to help you with trionic ecu`s.

http://forum.ecuproject.com

I have a friend that knows just about everything there is to know about saab`s. I could ask him if you cant fint the info you need on that forum

Hi Stompen,

Thanks for this map. I still have to do that post on the saab-forum, but
I'll get more info posted here if it comes to me.

I think that there are more people interested in these injectors as these
are a very good match as upgrade-injector  for wideport head-useage
on 1.8T engines (AEB/AGU)

Cheers,

Btw keep in mind that TVUB changes with fuel pressure.

Hi PRJ,

Thanks for that info. Most welcome.

And very logical, as the volume the injector injects is more or less when altering the manuf. standard pressures-specs.
(3bar normally)

Do you have that value for this injector @ 3bar b.t.w. ? That would be great to know Wink

Thanks,

I don't have the specs for these sorry.
I mostly tune cars with 200-400 hp per liter, so I don't have much experience with these injectors.
I remember having them on one car, but that one had leaks, and then the owner swapped them out because they were too small.

- TLST.0 / TLST.1  (Startgrundmenge in ms. / Startup injected fuelmass in ms.)
- FKTU.0 / FKTU.1 (Start (B2) Abregelung (Faktor < 1) )

Friends a pair of dumb questions:
1.- What is the usage of TLST (Startgrundmenge in ms. / Startup injected fuelmass in ms.)? When (in what condition) applies TLST?
2.- What FKTU (Start (B2) Abregelung (Faktor < 1)) means? when applies it? In that comment what B2 means?

Hi Novik,
PvL has passed away some time ago, but in this topic there is some info.
TVUB map is in post #4. That with KRKTE (or your equivalent map on M3.8.3) should be sufficient to calibrate correctly.

With TVUB and FGAT0 you should be ok. Maybe TLST could be needed too.
