hi guys
i used this software 3x before and worked great...
using ross-tech registered cable
tried to flash this car
i got done reading the ecu and saved the file in case of something...
went into flashing the ecu with my new file and it started to do it
then got a msg that cannot clear memory and one more msg dont recall what software said
nefmoto closed connection
now i cannot communicated or even connect via nefmoto
any ideas?
its a 2000 audi a6 4.2 i am working on

thanx in advance
disconnect neg battery terminal then step on the brake a few times (this kills saved power in the electronics) then reconnect the battery and see if your ecu is live... If not then hope you have an alternative for recovery

so i got finally the ross-tech to work with galletto program
i get the ecu to work in boot mode
galletto starts
erasing ok
starts writting
after little bit tells me error writting
any ideas??

not sure if the issue i am having is with selecting the ecu
i select
----boot mode---
audi vw me 7.x.x 29f800bb ( ground eprom pin 24 )

all works seeding ok, erasing ok, just when it starts to write takes a little bit, no percentage of writting happens and give error msg of writting error

i am doing it in the car since i do not have a bench power supply, but the battery is fully charged and i have a battery charger on it with voltmeter @ 13.8 with ignition turned already on....

so i find that this ecu is actually a me 7.1
is there a way to use galletto to boot mode and write the file in the car
i only see a boot mode write file for 7.1.1

bootmode 7.1 and 7.1.1 are the same

strange why it does not want to write then...
everything works in boot mode just writting does not start...
