So I'm trying to flash my car with Nefmoto. First I tried with my Ross-Tech Vag-Com cable but since its a HEX-V2 I found out it won't go into Dumb Mode. So... I purchased a VAG KKL cable from ECS and installed the software from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

Everything seemed to install correctly but when I go to Nefmoto it won't reed the cable. What am I doing wrong? am I skipping any steps?

Please advise

Had the same problem.

Bought a MPPS v13 clone and fixed my problems (using the MPPS software).

]I purchased a VAG KKL cable from ECS

IIRC that is not a proper general purpose FTDI232R based cable.
