Not sure how much use to people but here's a couple of pictures of the Simos18.1 Ecu from the Golf Gti/R..

Have you done any back tracing to see if the front or the back bdm port is going to the cpu?

Is this ecu dead?

Ecu Is working,

Literally done nothing yet as only received it on Friday and opened it up, which is actually a lot easier than the MED9 Ecus, although the bottom cover is very thin Ali, so bends and deforms quite easily, but the ecu is only for testing at this stage so not bothered about that.

Not even looked yet for the BDM ports
