Hi
Im looking for a tool to read a crypted Audi A8 4d2 my2001  cluster.
With my equipment I have no chance to read the eprom.
Is there any solution to read it.

I want to read the dump. But It don’t work with my tools. Vcp vag dash or direct with a eeprommer

As I know you can only read directly with a programmer only , never found a tool that could decrypt the dumps from an A8 d2 , only km change ( in NYO calculator )

What I found is that the dump of the cluster is saved at 3 EPROMs. When I read it direct, the dump is scrap.

After 2000 the dump is crypted.
The eprom is 24c17

I think only mid-2001 and later are crypted. The dump is in 23c17 but you can read IT as 24c16


I guess there is problem with a tool for this becase of little amount od A8 D2 from these years -  there maybe 5000-6000 produced cars with these type of encryption.
