Merged ALL three of your identical posts into the same thread.

Not a good start.

Do not do it again. You will not receive another warning.

Also, your question is impossible to answer. You did not provide a single piece of useful information.

Please do not ask me for tunes. I'm here to help people make their own.

Do not PM me technical questions! Please, ask all questions on the forums! Doing so will ensure the next person with the same issue gets the opportunity to learn from your experience.

I thought he was quite clear.  He has spent days trying to read me7.1.1 ecu. He is having trouble finding a guide for that exact ecu. Can anyone point him in the right direction??

Sorry for the multiple posts at the beginning of thread, the laptops fault! Thanks for the replies, except for the retard one Undecided.
After lots of trying different methods that I read on the the internet and failing. I have made my own bench harness and using mpps v16, and putting ecu into boot mode, I have finally managed to read and save my bin file.

Bosch ME 7.1-1M

BOSCH SOFTWARE NUMBER: 1037366304
VW SOFTWARE NUMBER: 4D1907558  0002
SYSTEM TYPE NUMBER: 4.2L V8/5VT  G

I was thinking it would be easy sailing from now on..
I thought I would be able to find, download a stage 2 map from the internet somewhere. But I cant find one anywhere.
Or do I need to learn the next stages and  try to remap my own bin file?
Thanks for any helpful replies Smiley
