Hi,

i have a S3 APY with a AUM/AUQ ecu.
Immo is off and there is no spark.

The APY does have a wire from pin67 to somewhere. It is not documented in my cabling plan. Could not trace it for now.
The AUM/AUQ does have the pin67 to the white T10/9 in the firewall and its called crash signal.
We groundet this cable so the ecu will receive ground on pin67. Nothing changed.
We did NOT give 12v to it for now. Its a clients car and i am trying to help remotely.

All other things i checked should be the same. Both cars have motronic relais, pin1 of the coil has 12v when ignition is turned on.
Pin 121 has power too so motornic relais works.

three questions:
Is there a way to check the ignition driver on the pcb?
is the crash signal 12v so we can power up pin67?
should i just try another ecu because driver is broken?

regards

no rpms on tacho when cranking
no start with 12v to pin67

car is running with old APY ecu
but with disconnected injectors and cranking there are no rpms on tacho too
