Looks like I've fallen at the first post.  My laptop runs on Windows XP.  anything I can do short of buying a new one?

can you upgrade the os to win 7? cheaper than a new laptop

Windows 7 is great, and runs well on old hardware because it scales performance and features.

Or, you can wait until October when I am hoping to release an update to the NefMoto software that supports Windows XP. I need to rewrite one of my subsystems that currently relies on features only in Windows Vista and newer.
