PCMFlash worked to flash the Simos 8.5 ecu in my B8.5 S4.  Virtual reads only.

I can tell you that it will at least identify MED17 using TP20 on CAN.

I used the genuine Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 J2534 interface with the PCMFlash software.

Does the virtual read contain anything but the cal area?
Is the data outside the cal area encrypted or not?

pcm uses full flash for simos8. or at least, more than calc area.

Take one for the team like I did, and buy the TP20 module and try it out!  Report back!
