pls what is sympliest and cheapest solution to upgrade ecu on s4 b5 on newest 1024kb version, for example upgrade on 551M for which exist fully defined damos? stock is 551C..

so buy 551m ecu, immo off or eep swap and must work? pinouts are the same?

most 1M well known ECUs don't have immo... if you pick one that does, yes, you need to immo disable

it SHOULD be pin compatible.

NA cars(ecu's) didnt come with immo only after 2001 or such, but why the upgrade? wideband? you can get away with an UEGO cheaper than buying ecu, redoing wiring and etc. - I think.

Because all of the known existing interesting things are for 1M ECUs.

And no me7.1 is wideband.

My me7.1 12v vr6 with a 512 file is wideband lambda... uses lsu4.2 Bosch sensor
