Could it be that the system has the ability, but it is simply not applied anywhere we see because it is only utilized in direct injection systems?

I like the direction this is going.  BTW, I might be waterjet cutting my own coil adapter plates, and might consider doing a bunch of them at the same time to hook some fellow NefMoto'ers up, if you guys would be interested.

Also, does anyone know the purpose of subfunction zuesz-band?
It's output to AZUE as well, but it's inactive due to CW-FUBND=0.

Yea, another quick glance this morning revealed "ME7 is configured for single spark and dual spark output".

i can't answer this, but i did just complete the 2.0t ignition coil conversion.  the car has never, not matter what I've done to it or how it's been tuned, been this smooth.  i highly highly recommend doing the conversion or buying the 034 kit...   i can't wait to check my gas mileage after 1000 miles.

Any tutorials how to do the 2.0t conversation? Wink

Have you bothered to look closer at AZUE function notes? The more I look at it the more I hold to my previous statement.

Yea, I just got to the part that resembled what you were saying, but I had to run. I'm gonna have another look later.

It looks like the maps I listed are for igniton range 1 (low engine speed). There is a hard switch to ignition range 2 when engine speed crosses the threshold SY_NZUEB.

It looks like the code is there for dual spark ignition. What pros and cons are there for this and what hardware changes would be required?

It looks like this can be implemented without any hardware changes and could really benefit E85 cold starts at least.
