I see two different pics of where to short pin 24 to get into boot mode for the ME 7.1.1 as listed below. One has two vertical solder pads listed which are not on my PCB and the other shows the second terminal in on the flash chip same as the ME 7.1 pic in the S4 Wiki. Does anyone have first hand experience with an ME 7.1.1 PCB without the vertical solder pads who has used the second pin on the 29F800BB chip? Since this is all new to me I don't want to fry anything on the first go. I'll save that for later...

There are a variety of ME 7.1.1 PCBs with different possibilities to short pin 24. The photo below from the S4 Wiki shows a solder pad to short pin 24. The solder pad does not exist on my or all ME 7.1.1 PCBs so I wanted to confirm that it would be necessary to actually short the 29F800BB pin instead of a different solder pad as shown in this link below.

Yup. I use one on the back side that also goes to that pin to make an external wire. But that one will work too... i just dont like soldiering to chips.
