So I'm not sure what is going on. My little brother's 1.8t is burning out coil packs like crazy to the point he had replaced the coil harness thinking that was the issue, however I think its something else.

its an atw that has been converted over to the 018ch.
2.0t coil packs running NGK BKR6E plugs.

Any Dwell time maps have been left stock.

What should I log to figure out what if any changes should be made to dwell?

Log dwelltime, but you probably need to change it.

2.0-2.5ms at 14V is your target for lower power car.

If you have LC/NLS patch, then FTOMN at 0 will also fry coil packs on many ECU's.
