Immobilization error when connecting
« on: March 22, 2012, 05:25:12 PM »
I'm getting a "immobilization not authenticated" error when trying to read the flash memory on my ECM. (4Z0907551S - ME7.1.1) Googling brought up one topic that the IMMO needs to be disabled before I can read. I've been able to read/write to my EEPROM with the ME7_95040 utility. Can someone give me info on what part of the memory in the EEPROM needs to be changed (and changed to what) to disable the IMMO? I'd like to do this on the bench and not in the car.
