Question, maybe stupid but still remains a question.

I got a Stage 2 file that works very well and I am happy with it.
But I want someday to change Injectors and fuel pump to get ready for a future turbo upgrade.

Is is possible to edit the Stage 2 to work the same (or better) when I change the injectors with bigger ones?

It's an A4, B7, 2005, 1.8T Quattro, BFB Engine. Stock turbo, stock injectors.

ECU info:
HW: 0261208524
SW: 1037372505
8E0909518AQ 0010

It's already running with the Stage 2 file and stock injectors.
If I am corrent it runs with 315cc injectors.
I might use 630cc in the future but without changing anything else. Just "preparing" it.

I don't know if I should attach the file or not, so I ask first  Tongue

You can change the map/injectors yes if its  made by you,if custom most likely it is locked. Sharing tuner files is not allowed AFAIK.

Usually people say "oh I only need to modify one or two maps" then quickly discover there are many more things that need fixing.

At that point, modifying someone else's file becomes an endless rabbit hole of misery.

So it's better not to touch it.

I will see what I will do when the time for upgrades come.

Nothing wrong with a bit of experimentation, but you'd be best served spending that time on preemptively learning to write your own file from scratch or based on a community file.

I got clones. VCDS/KESS/MPPS v16/v18. That's how I managed to get the original file, dig, found a few Stage 1 and Stage 2 and play.
It's not my field of expertise (I'm IT/Admininistrator) but I would like to learn/dig/know better. As a hobby mostly.

I would like to mess around more like you said, but can't find the software tools.
I understand that I need something like WinOLS, ECM or TunerPro -if I am right from what I've read-,
but didn't find them anywhere (a working copy) and too much $ to buy for just one car and your hobby.
