Hi guys , new to EFI tuning , I'm trying to follow the forum how-to and the s4wiki how-to .

I was able to retrieve the bin from my ECU and comparing it (in tunerpro) to the stock 4B0907551S.bin it shows 0 bytes of differece .
So far so good , however looking at the tables/parameters in S4wiki (https://s4wiki.com/wiki/Tuning) I found out a value that does't make since almost at the begining. KRKTE according to this writeup should be 34.125 but mine appears to be "-2147483648" .

Could this be due to using the XDF provided in s4wiki tutorial ? (Couldn't find the XDF for 4B0907551S)
What am I missing ?

Yes. You should also know S has issues with bricking ECUs

Thanks for the quick reply . I've another ECU on a spare car ... it's a 4Z7907551D (took me a few hours to have the file from it) from a quick search in the forum I can see that someone already asked about this one . I'll try to read that experience to recode that ECU with a better known ECU bin and remove the immobilizer to use it in my car (the one with the S ECU), and (re)start from there.

Just another question that came to mind...
If one can reflash the ECU with another imagine doesthis means that ecu is not paired with tcm?

Could I use the tiptronic (and tcm) from another car and pair it my ecu without problems?
(can't seem to find info on this)
