I'm here looking around for information on Bosch MED17.9.8 ECU as well as what I believe is a SIM2K-305 TCU.  These are in my '17 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, but I also just want to learn in general.

I'm a mechanical engineer, but specifically enjoy electro-mechanical stuff.
So far I have done everything from consumer product design, to lighting design, to aerospace grade actuators & gearboxes.  I'm currently working on the manufacturing side of things at a small facility that specializes in placing delicate electronics in very severe environments (miles underground, nuclear reactors, etc.)

I'm going to spend a good while looking around, but if when I ask any dumb questions, take it easy on me
