Hey guys, Happy New Year. Been having some trouble with 1.4/1.2tsi tuning at altitude. More specifically, requested boost as well as specified air filling and requested load, start at requested in my map but then keep dropping until redline, no matter what my KFMIRL requested load is, MDMAXMOT, torque accelerator limiters, boost limiters, Pressure Ratio map (KFVNTUXS), etc. No knock and BTS and knock reduction factors have been disabled in other revisions to see if that is the problem, but no, problem persists. Checked RLSOL/RLMAX bu cant find anything that might be capping it. Unfortunately there is no MED17.5.21/25 Funktionsrahmen available.

Attached is an example ori file, tuned file for testing where this limiter might be: limited to 19.5psi flat (2.725 pressure ratio at 780mbar where im located) via KFVNTUXS, MDMAXNMOT set at 83.8% torque, which should be good for 335Nm request or so with MDNORM at 400Nm and more than 185% load request through KFMIRL which is definitely higher than requested/actual drop.

Also, log: https://www.autotuner-tool.com/en/log/7b3efb4c31dc3e8010f50ed7d3fed7ca5c469eb62478c95272759df2a64a2946

Also, as you might see, torque setpoint in log is set at 340/335nm all through the rev range with no drop while boost requested/setpoint and actual drops, which made me look at RLSOL/RLMAX path but cant find anything thats directly limiting it unless some efficiency calculation at this altitude is capping it, but i just cant find where, since specified air filling logged with VCDS will drop from 190/200 immediately and keep dropping until redline and boost request will follow and start dropping slowly after. Attached is VCDS log from another car with same issue showing relative load, specified filling and charge air pressure both requested and actual with same problem.

Use a proper logger in combination with the FR, and you most likely will find the problem.
I see that you already registered at my website...

yes, that would solve the problem immediately, as i could see right away where request Is getting capped. And yes, very exited to try out your logger, just dont know if your Logger Is compatible (Advance logging) with med17.5.21/25, Will try It out tuesday once i get to my workshop. If It Is then ill solve the problem really quickly. VCDS and Autotuner have very basic logging channels and couldnt find Any other good logger except for yours

All VAG UDS MEDC17 and MDG1 are supported. If I don't have definition on server, i will add it quickly.

Look for
CoPT_tqHiGearPwrCls0_M

And I sugest a little look at KFMI_UM too

dont know were you live, but sure is a very high place !!! 780mbar are you not making mistake and thinking bout 780mmHg ?
I would make KFVNTUXS like original again...

Modified It already, and KFMI_UM tested on another revision too, same outcome, and yes 780mbar, 11.3psi ambient pressure at close 2500 meters above sea level (México City). TUXS was set to 19.5psi Max at my altitude for testing. Still, something capping requested air filling along the way. Specified torque Is not límited, but maximum filling Is. Also, no apparent torque intervention

Also, those maps only control ECO mode torque request (CoPT_tqHiGearPwrCls0_M) as far as i know, altough i have tested before with same torque request as main maps and It wont change anything Since theyre only active when charisma driving mode Is set to ECO
