New to nefmoto so hopefully this is in the correct place.

I tried to read my ECU files but it says unable.....something to the order of it could be copy protected from reading. I can read codes and other general ECU info but not under the flashing tab. I wanted to read the file so I could figure out how to adjust my boost control since I am now using a Frankenturbo with a higher wastegate pressure....this is on a previously stage 2 with now frankenturbos 2001 S4.

Is this a generic response if I use the wrong ECU type or does this mean I'm actually locked out of the ECU? My hardware type says 8D09077551L, software number 1037354145...not sure if this is what you guys need to know. I can try to get you whatever you need.

My other option is to use a Manual Boost Controller....but that just doesn't seem like the best thing.

This is a screen shot of what is happening.

You can read your file via boot mode.
Search forum for details.
If you a new to those stuff i suggest to do everything with caution.
Whhich tuner has developed the program your car runs?

I don't know who's tune it is. I got car via auction dealer and most of the work was done by previous owner. I just did the turbos since the K03 failed.

I'm definitely being cautious with this stuff. I've tried a few different memory layouts from the ones available under the flashing tab...is this correct for me to do or do I have to get some other memory layout? What ECU memory layout should I use to read?
