ME7 attempted read now no boost.
« on: May 23, 2012, 02:53:17 AM »
Hello,
Trying to help a fellow forum member out (different forum). He's recently purchased a skoda octavia vrs. He's took it to a tuner to confirm if it was mapped and if it could be improved. Tuner struggled to read the file. Eventually he said he read it and confirmed it was mapped. However since this its now like its in permanent limp mode. No power at all. I'm guessing its been REVO'd and that why the tuner had trouble reading it.
Logged boost and its only showing 0.3bar. MAF peaks at 80g/s. No faults logged.
Tried reading it myself using Galletto 1260 but no joy so guessing its REVO'd.
So I'm wondering how by attempting to read the file has effected it? Also whats the solutions to get it back to normal?
Great forum by the way. Can see plenty of reading needed. I know my way around the EDC15 ecu but not looked into ME7's.
Thanks

Can't get to redline lol some sort of limiter kicks in around 5k.
Can't get anymore logs at the moment. Was just wondering if it's a known issue with possible REVO/APR maps.

well its not pulling timing and spec boost is low and actual seems to be more or less spec. it must be closing throttle you will need too log some other blocks like throttle plate angle and IAT and EGT.
