Vw Golf 1.6 FSI burble tune
« on: May 03, 2024, 03:03:16 PM »
Hi!
So I'm quite new to this..
I own a VW Golf 5 1.6 FSI. Got myself talked into a stage 1 tune.
Added not much HP, but I didn't know that at the time, oh well..
Got my mufflers removed about 3 weeks ago and now it has a nice sporty sound to it.
But, I now want a subtle burble/pops and bangs tune.
My will be removed later this month so it'll be a no issue.
My local tuners asks 250 for it, which is a little pricey for just a burble tune.
I know he uses MPPS, but has a guy for the actual tune.
Do online services exist for this kind of thing?
Or is it possible for a total noob as me to do it myself?
If so, is the MPPS enough for the read/write?
I've no idea what software to use to edit the actual .bin file it spits out.
Any help is appreciated!
