I've been at this for a few nights now, tracing my steps looking for anything I might have missed.  Heck tonight I even tried a completely different ECU revision (RN box).  Nothing seems to make a difference in getting the ECU to follow BTS fueling when the EGT threshold is reached.

It seems to only want to follow LAMFA, and only starts to get much richer towards the end of the RPM sweep and that's probably due to knock.

This is all on my 1.8T (ME7.5).

Here are some logs, and a shot of the BTS setup in my file.  If anyone needs the flash to help diagnose you're more then welcome to PM me and I will send it to you.

Cheers!

It's a stock 1.8T w/ a K04 turbo... yesterday I put a 5 BAR regulator on w/ stock injectors.  Stock everything else (MAF, etc).

KFTVLBTS looks fine and matches the other files so as far as I can tell it's stock.

Alright, in other 1.8t binarys I have seen up to 6sec delay in KFTVLBTS. But it is FBSTAGM causing it.

It deactivates BTS below 900* by multiplying desired lambda by zero.

^^ Thank you sir, I will give that a shot!

FWIW, the axis for FBSTAGM was not originally temp, it was km/h (and I knew it was wrong) and I just corrected it before posting that screen shot.  Still though it didn't dawn on me that below the first entry would effect it.

Nice to have another pair of eyes checking things out sometimes!

Hi. I know thread is old but I think about BTS fueling and why i my stock file all KFLBTS is 1 and KFFDLBTS is not 1 (i know its factor map) but if I make all KFFDLBTS as 1 and make KFLBTS to lambda values wat I want to have it will work properly? Or I miss something?

Lets say kflbts is the "first" lambda value to  protect when tabgbts (or other temperature trigger) reach a needed value

As EGT rise (because of timing, IAT, etc) it is beeing  altered by kfldbts (more and more rich).

Some S3 files are this way, you stay at lamfa and kfldbts or kflamkrl made the job...
