Bench Flashing - Volts: How much is too much?
« on: June 23, 2012, 01:16:56 PM »
Just as the title says, how much voltage is too much? My current bench power setup is no longer providing 12-13v of power.. I'm trying to do some testing on various code for my ECU and would really like to get up and running as soon as I can. I have another power supply I can use that provides about 2-3amps of power... but 15-17volts. I know the ECU can handle 14 volts without issue, but would I be safe in the 15-17volt range?
Thanks!
