Hi, I am looking on buying a mk5 gti dsg and making plans to buy a spare ecu to get started, I am fairly familiar with 1.8t ecus and me7 tuning, the different variants and the compatibility amongst them.

From what I've read med9.1's are cross compatible from a hardware perspective, I wanted to know if there is a known best software version of .bin file that is the best starting point for tuning, I have some well defined files already but I don't mind making one from scratch for an ideal software version or if there is little difference I will work with the file I pull from the car I buy.

Hope this makes sense, thanks in advance.  Grin
