Hi,

I currently have a Golf 4 GTI with an ARZ ECU that I want to swap to an AUM ECU in order to install a wideband sensor.

I already have the "Wideband ECU Conversion Harness" kit, but I was wondering if it is possible to swap the ECU while keeping the key code or if I am required to do an immo off?

I am on immobilizer 2 and I believe the AUM is on immobilizer 3, I think it is impossible but maybe you have some info I don't have (I hope).

Thanks in advance.
I know that the 2001 aww engine code 032DL is wideband and immo 2, you should be able to cross flash the 032dl file and copy your eeprom from the arz and that should work without a problem.

Thank you both.

So, if I get a 06A906032DR-L, is it possible to transfer the immobilizer to the new ECU? Is it relatively easy to do? Do I just need to dump the current ECU and "transfer the code" in the new ECU or is there anything to do with the speedometer, as it's a 1J0 920 825.
Should be able to read the eeprom 95040 chip from the original ecu and flash it to the new and flash the DR/DL and that should be all you need to do to keep it all working.

Upload the eeprom file, I'll disable immo on it.
