How important is the pipe/length between turbo and maf (distance between the MAF sensor and the turbo)?
Some of my friends said that they had problems if the MAF sensor was close to the turbo.

I'm planinng enlarging MAF house and tune for 1.5 bar.

Setup;
Audi A04 2004 w/BEX Engine (190ps)
AEB Rods, AEB Cylinder head, 81.50mm pistons
IHI VF37 Turbo (48.3mm)
11L intercooler, exhaust system etc...

Sorry for my bad english..

I know that lacking a pipe pre MAF, ie cone filter attached to the MAF will give wonky readings which I have verified in my own logs. Post MAF pipe length I am unsure of. I would imagine the length necessary to plumb in the ports for the recirculation valve and N75 would be enough to keep things ok. Will be interesting to see if those smarter than us have any input on the subject.

haha have you ever accidently sneeze on 1 while the car is at idle? the right person would get a chuckle if it happens but id only be worried about the compressor wheel giving off turbulence or un metered "wind" when it comes to my judgement with the distance between the 2

Dramatic curves and turns in your intake piping are what cause noticeable defects in performance, the distance shouldnt matter too greatly
