I’m really lost here. I got this car with only an airbag light, no displays no speedo nothing, obviously the car wouldn’t start because of the clusters immobilizer not doing anything. I took the battery out took out the cluster and stuffed it all back in and the cluster lights right up. Idk but my immobilizer was going off ? Let the key sit in the on position for ten minutes, still had the immo on. So I decided to power cycle again and hopefully reset the Immo. Nope now my cluster is just showing an airbag light again. I ran codes. Only notable code is Engine Blocked By Immobilizer. obviously, anyway I’m going to replace this relay I found may be faulty and hope but I think this clusters dead, just really confused how it lit up when I took it out and put it back in. I can’t keep messing with it bc the moron before me snapped the clips and now it’s going to stay in there if I put it in again, pain in my ass to get it out, does anyone recognize these issues? If I replace the cluster I don’t have any way to swap the info unless I can get the stuff to do it myself and help from someone. I’m wicked far up north in NH and no one out here will help me. Please if you have ANY ideas send them my way.
This is the relay I believe is bad, it’s all rusty and corroded.
