Hi,
after swapping from a Tiptronic 09A to a 6-speed manual in an A3 8L 1.8T (AUQ) I have everything working (reverse light, speedo), but the clutch switch is notworking. I wired it to ECU pin T121/39 following this video: https://youtu.be/ncKRdmGXfsQ?si=KxxJBnKGjH2oduYw&t=1783

What I tested:
VCDS measuring block 066 stays 00000100 (no change when pressing clutch).
Brake input works shows 00000111.
Continuity to pin T121/39 is OK

Car runs fine, no DTCs. I originally had 032HQ and flashed 032HN. I want the clutch input for future launch control / 2-step or NLS.
Any help would be appreciated

One wire goes from the switch to pin 39 on ECU.
The other wire on the switch is an +12v switched. Did you checked this?

The ecu receives an 12v at pin 39, when you press the clutch, the switch opens.

I checked, I even connected it to a constant 12V to test, but unfortunately there was no reaction :/

Is the ECU coding set correctly?
Should be 11410 if the car does not have ESP or 11510 if there is ESP

Check with multimeter the internal signal path of the ECU clutch according to the red lines in the figure.
If everything is OK then at the moment the clutch is pressed, 5v should appear on pin 20 of the ASIC

Got it working, turns out i used the wrong wire in the plenum chamber (same color). No idea how i messed that up xD. ECU sees the clutch now, thanks
