Hello out there,
I am trying to activate the built in Soundtuning feature on a mg1cs002 in an Audi S4 B9 with the 3.0 TFSI engine. I have a similar damos but the BBSOTUN are differs quite a lot I tried many options but it wont work like it should. Maybe someone has a hint who already did it.

Thanks for your effort. But I already tried it like that and many other ways. The function is not active thats my problem. On overrun it uses latest ignition angle and not latest while Soundtuning what are dedicated maps. That means the function is not active to me. But the codeword is set to 1 and all other maps and codewords should work. =/

At the screenshot you can see some of the maps I identified by comparing with a RS6 C8 damos.

It´s not that difficult. Anyway there is also some damos floating around in the web which fit pretty good to yours.

Thanks cherry ! it worked for like 50% of the time Cheesy

sometimes it works sometimes not. I cant really get around why. All temps are in the limits and i deactivated the misuse counter. Its a bit strange but better than nothing. The main problem was to set the codeword for activation to 255. Thats why without a FR its not possible. The MED17 FR ive got says codeword to 1 is function active =/.

It does not work from start sometimes? Then maybe some drive select "issue", you need to press the drive select button button after start or deselect / select again. There is a "bug" that drive select will be in auto mode even if it shows dynamic / individual in menu. I think it´s based to some EU regulation bullshit. There was also some noise reduction recall for other cars. Newer VW from about 2018 also jump back to standard mode, but menu will show it correct. These Audi does not show it.

If it´s not working sometimes in driving, it could be a calculated temperature problem, there is a good reason for these limits / timeout. I don´t know if car is stock or you did a longer sound time, retarted timing, etc., but the attached file should work. I made exactly this version about a year ago and there was no problem. Anyway this car was stock, only sound activated, but as you can see no hardcore shit.
