I'm trying to modify mileage in ME 7.3.1 ecu from Alfa Romeo 156 gta. I used IO terminal to read eeprom dump, than i drove car for 5km, and i read out eeprom again. I can see which bytes are different between 2 files. I figured out which bytes are mileage( in this case, first row, bytes 2A CD 0B, and after 5km driving, changed to 5A CD 0B) together with some other bytes in first 5 rows. So i have changed mileage, and wrote new flash, io terminal read mileage that i had input. However, once i read out ECU with Multiecuscan or Alfa OBD, it says 0km, and start counting from 0, instead of value that io terminal is reading. Can anyone have idea why is that happening? Attached are unmodified dumps before and after 5km driving. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me figure out this.
