Hi guys,
I'm a newbie on here and hoping someone could help me out. I'd like to understand how to remove the immobilizer on this ecu. Which bytes do I need to change and to what?

Let me preface by saying I've never modified a 95040 dump... Too easy to just flash one of the many immo off bins from the forum.

That said, the following post by SeRiLLo should answer your question:

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply,

As far as I can tell this is a M3.8.2 ecu and I desoldered the eeprom and read the dump as a 24c02, I already have what is supposed to be a immo off dump but not had chance to try it.

I was really hoping for a chance to learn more about what bytes do what and if they are the same bytes as those that are listed for ME7 ecus.

Thanks
