Hi everyone I'm a noob so please be patient with me, I have a Audi tt 225 bam which has a bad map which I want to remove, the map was done by the old owner and is too aggressive for my liking,

I do not have the origional .bin file but I have downloaded from here a stock file that matches my ecu model number. Question is if I flash the ecu with the new file will this mess up my immobilizer? Or is the immo stored on a serparate chip? I just want my car back to stock.

Much appreciated

Chris

You wont mess up the immo with a new flash.
It could still be a good idea to use ArgDub`s tool to get the immo from the ecu in case you mess up the ecu Smiley

Tool can be found here: http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=1168.0title=

Good luck Smiley

Sorry forgot to ask, will I need a memory layout file? Or will just the .bin be ok? And if so how do I get/create one?

If you have the original .Bin for your car, all you need is the cable and nefmoto.
Everything else is found in the nefmoto folder.
