It's too early to talk about price
less then 500$ I think.
I heard about "Moates Roadrunner". I think that it's very difficult for beginners.
My device will have simple PC soft to simplify tuning for beginners.
There is no "simplification" of ME7. It's not like Siemens where a 10 year old can tune it.
I do not see what is "very difficult" about the moates emulator. It is hardware! Hardware that works perfectly. You tell it to monitor a file for changes, it loads this into the emulator in real time.
If you want to make a tuning suite for Siemens, go ahead, the older Siemens stuff is really straightforward.
But no one who does not have very profound interest in ECU's is going to ever tune ME7 well. And you can't make a tool to dumb it down either, as this will work horribly (Maestro).
Basically - we already have a solution for emulation. It works with TunerPro and it works with WinOLS. If your emulator was 250$ instead of 500$ and it works well - then I am sure you have a market. But if it costs about the same, then you are not bringing anything new to the table.
