is it possible to defeat immo in rb8 cluster ,will key immo light flash.
can pull eeprom bin from cluster but cant get it from ecu without bench flashing ,but need to get cable for becn flashing and just sold car so no access to a breakers yard.

short story .
a neighbour had a 1.8t engine dropped into a 1.4 golf. had both sets off clocks ,keys + ecu,s
guy who did job snapped transponder in new 1.8t key (why not just change blades over ?)
cant dump immo from ecu via obd (timeout think its to do with security on clocks) with vag k +can

so could defeat immobiliser in clocks , to get car running (don't even try to fire so wiring problem as well ) once car is running immo can be introduces and ecu adapted in vcds
