Winter is getting closer in the Northern Hemisphere and the temps have dropped enough to allow me to start tweaking E85 cold starts once again.
After studying the FR for the cold start logic of the ME7.5, and to gain a better understanding of FKSTT, FNSSM and KFFWL, I produced a couple of charts depicting the stock enrichment factor during cold starts, plotted against the number of revolutions since the first injection on startup.
These charts are definitely not 100% accurate as they only take into account the most significant multipliers (FKSTT, FNSSM, KFFWL) in each step, but they give a good glimpse of how the enrichment drops over time. Especially at lower starting temperatures, as the coolant temp starts to rise, KFFWL will drop and in reality produce more linear lines towards the end of the afterstart chart.
Hope you like them.
