Searching around I came across this document by Dana Baum @ Baum Tools Unlimited Inc. describing fuel trims on the BMW. I thought I'd pass it on in case someone hasn't seen it.

I thought the window of time that trims could be out of range would have been longer before triggering a CEL. Again this is BMW, but I would imagine that VAG is similar.

Been awhile since I read that, but IIRC it isn't directly applicable to ME7
