My willem gq-3x with posp44 adapter freezes at 50% completion while writing on an AM29f800BB chip. It works just fine to erase it. It also writes just fine on an AM29f200AB.

The program itself actually freezes up. Any advice how to get this working?

only time ive had that happen is when someone else has shorted something by trying to bootmode ecu and zapping ground to wrong pin.
i would test another 800bb chip.

I got a bad batch one time, they'd erase fine, and program fine until around 25-30 percent, then the program would just hang. Hasn't happened since.
