00'd CDKAT, still getting catalyst efficiency codes. I can only assume CDKAT is incorrect, although everything I've checked indicates it is correct. Any experience? 181A1, original attached.

and catalyst shows as VCDS passed, but p0420 persists.

Anyone run into this?

I don't have issues on this sw with rear O2 deleted.

Well normally zero'ing cdkat is enough to kill cat diagnosis, but the p0420 persists. Any hints? I'm sure I'll get it on my own, but assuming we're not talking state secrets, LMK if I'm missing something.

IIRC just killed CDKAT, the Rear O2 related codewords as well as adjusted ESKONF, and I don't remember getting any codes.
I also set CWKONABG to 0 though...

I removed the rear O2 and SAI on my mothers A4 by zeroing out the following:

CDKAT = 0 (O2) Location = 0x181A1
CWDLSAHK = 0 (O2) Location = 0x18613

CDSLS = 0 (SAI) Location = 0x181B0

Passed OBD inspection.
